Rabbit Skin Glue is ready to use in liquid (gel) form. It creates a strong bond between gold leaf and gesso layers. You will need to use this rabbit skin glue with gilders whiting to make a gesso.
- Warm it to about 50 degrees, stir it well, and start to use.
- After use, put the remaining mixture in a refrigerator or freezer.

About Rabbit Skin Glue:
Rabbit Skin Glue is made from shreds of skin, residues from the production of rabbitskins. It is more elastic than other skin glues, but its adhesive strength is less. This is no disadvantage for priming and gilding techniques.
