Noris gold leaf can be applied to various surfaces, including wood, metal, gypsum board, stone, glass, ceramic, concrete, paper, and plastic. You can achieve a superior finish on your gilded projects by using professional-grade gold leaf.
- The individual gold leafs are pressed onto tissue paper. You can also cut the patent leafs into desired shapes using scissors. Place the leafs onto the prepared surface and carefully rub them with soft Instacoll Tissue or Cotton yarn. After this, you can remove the tissue paper, as the gold leaf will adhere to the surface.
- Each booklet contains 25 leafs, with 10 booklets in a box.
- Leaf size: 8x8cm.
- The recommended gilding size for these leafs is Kölner Aqua Size. When working with imitation metal leaf, it is advisable to wear Gilder’s Gloves to prevent moisture from your fingers from staining the metal leafs.
- Apply a varnish such as Kölner Leaf Protect to protect imitation gold leafs from oxidisation.
- Use a Gilder’s Mop to remove excess leafs and achieve a smooth, solid finish.
