The Kölner Fine Detail Kit enables you to create precise, golden accents easily. This set includes a high-quality applicator with two different attachments, allowing you to draw fine to extra-fine lines. It also comes with two sheets of 23-carat ducat double gold transfer leaf and Kölner Instacoll Tissue for polishing your gilding to a brilliant shine.
The Kölner applicator is ideal for artistic gilding, intricate lettering, and the Kintsugi technique, whether you’re working on paper, canvas, ceramics, or porcelain. The adhesive dries in approximately 20 to 60 minutes.

We also stock Kölner Ceramic gilding size KT5 in gel form. This product can fill small imperfections and bursts in ceramic material. After film building, it can be gilded with Transfer Genuine Gold Leaf or Imitation Gold Leaf, resulting in a high-gloss gilding.
Kölner Ceramic gilding size is for mirror-gloss gilding on china and ceramics. They are formulated to repair small cracks in gilded china or ceramics. KT 5 / KT 5hv is a water-based, non-punishable size for transferring gold leaf. KT5-HV should be applied with a small spatula or surface knife. The metal shine is mirror-like after polishing with Instacoll Tissue. KT5 and KT5-HV can be intermixed and thinned with water.
Refilling ceramic and porcelain cavities is a breeze with KT5 or KT5 HV. The drying time is straightforward, and applying the gold leaf is as simple as a gentle press with Instacoll Tissue, giving you the confidence to achieve professional results.
