Gold leaf booklets (transfer) contain individual gold leaves pressed onto tissue paper. Place the leaf with the gold side facing down onto the prepared surface to apply the gold leaf. Then, gently rub it using a very soft Instacoll Tissue or Wool Brush. Once you have finished rubbing, you can remove the tissue paper; the gold leaf will adhere to the surface. You can also cut the transfer gold leaf into shapes using scissors.

Transfer gold leaf is an excellent choice for beginners in gilding and is perfect for gilding walls and ceilings. We also offer Loose Gold Leaf.

For best results, we recommend using the following gilding adhesives (sizes): Permacoll Gilding Size or Aqua Size.
