The standard mixing ratio is 1 part pearl powder to 9 parts varnish, thinner paint, or any other medium. It is perfect for use in lipsticks, eyeshadow, and nail polish. You can mix it with paint, resin, shellac, clay, or varnish.
The intensity of the finished colour depends on the mixing ratio, so it is advisable to start with a small amount for testing. You can also combine more than one colour (Pearl & Mica pigment) to produce the desired shade.
