About Rabbit Skin Glue:
There are substances in animal tissue from which glue can be extracted, particularly in the skin and bones. These can be extracted by boiling. The carrier of these substances is the collagen protein that is available in the animal body as scaffold protein cloth. Through heat action, the water-insoluble collagen changes into the water-soluble gluten protein. The gluten gives the glue its adhesive & bonding strength. This course of events applies to all glues obtained from animal tissue.
