Iron oxide pigment (orange) is used as dye or colourant in various applications, including ceramic, paint, concrete, coating, ink, leather, plastic and rubber. This dry pigment powder with an iron oxide base can be mixed with a binder to tint glaze and varnish or make paint.

Use this oxide to colour concrete, plaster, mortar, cement, plaster and concrete mix.

Oxide mixing ratio, you will need:

  • About 2kg of oxide for 40kg cement.
  • About 400g of oxide for a 30kg Mortar bag.
  • About 200g of oxide for 25kg of concrete mix.
  • About 200g of oxide for a 30kg of plaster /render bag.

The above ratio is an indicative guide. Therefore, you need to determine your own mixing ratio by doing a few tests before proceeding with your job.
To create a new colour, mix more than one pigment.
